FTSC has many options for those who seek the intensity of a refereed game and the camaraderie that comes from playing with the same group of people week in and week out. We have women’s, men’s, and co-ed teams and we register them to play in DC area recreational leagues (DC, Arlington, Fairfax, Montgomery County). League teams often form the core roster of teams that represent FTSC at travel tournaments. We support transgender players playing on whichever team matches their self-identified gender.

The club is also in the midst of planning the first ever FTSC club league, the FTSC Summer of Freedom League, set to launch in the summer of 2010. Click the tabs on the left-hand side of this page for details about the summer coed league and our men’s, women’s, and coed teams that play in local leagues.

2009 was a banner year for FTSC. Two out of the three women’s teams won their divisions in the fall, bringing a total of six championship titles to the women’s teams since their inception in 2004. The club’s upper flight men’s team, meanwhile, finished top of their WISL division, and another club men’s team had a highly enjoyable debut in a Northern Virginia men’s league. The number of coed teams continued to grow tremendously, with multiple 11v11, 9v9, and 7v7 teams that playing in Arlington and DC throughout the year, two of which had championship seasons.
